Full-service packing and unpacking — your Hixson move done from box one to last hanger
Packing is the part of a move that quietly eats your week. Elite Moving runs a dedicated pack crew so you don’t lose three vacation days to dish pads and tape guns. Our packers are W-2 — same Elite Moving shirts you see on move day — and they show up two business days before the load with the truck already loaded with cartons.
How our pack-out runs
- Pre-move walk-through, room counts, dish-pack count, art and mirror count.
- Day-of-pack: kitchen and china first, master bath, closets, garage and shop last.
- Every box numbered, color-coded by room, written into a master inventory.
- Load day: our movers pick up boxes already sealed and labeled, no scrambling at the door.
- Optional unpack: kitchens, closets and master bath unpacked at the new home, boxes flattened and hauled off same day.
What gets the special treatment
- Kitchens — dish packs, glass dividers, acid-free paper on china.
- Art and mirrors — mirror packs and custom-cut crating on anything over 36 inches.
- Electronics — original boxes if you kept them, padded TV cartons if you didn’t.
- Shop and garage — small parts bagged and labeled, power tools padded and strapped.

Every pack rides on a flat rate written before we start, with materials itemized but only the used boxes billed. We carry our own cargo and liability insurance, hold a Tennessee household-goods movers license plus US DOT and MC authority on file, and the pack crew is the same uniformed Elite Moving team that loads the truck two days later.
